I'm Getting Ready to Fly Away!

I'm taking Landon and everything we
learned from this amazing woman
with me, everywhere I go!

Ok so I miiiight have over packed, but better safe than sorry! Haha. But I have to admit, I am getting a little nervous to leave, I've never even been off the East coast and now I'm jet-setting off on a TransAtlantic adventure, scaryyy! My flight leaves Saturday, January 28 at 1:10pm and I should arrive in Madrid on Sunday, January 29th at 8am, their time. I've been able to just call all of my friends and text them and tell them how my day has been and now I won't be able to keep in contact that well with anyone. This past week, I've definitely been cherishing every text, call, and even HeyTell messages between my friends and I because I know so soon I'll be without all of that. I think I'm most afraid of leaving my family for so long; I never really got homesick when I went off to college because I knew I was only 2 1/2 hours away but now I'll be SO far! I'm sad to be missing so much of my siblings' lives, they are in stages in their lives where they are changing and growing so quickly and it makes me so nostalgic to know that I'll be missing important events! While I am nervous to start classes ALL in Spanish, I'm still SO excited to get over there! I can't wait to improve my Spanish skills and even talk with a lisp, I know, I'm a dork! Spain is such a beautiful country and I can't wait to go see all of the places that I've only seen in pictures! I'm nervous yet oh so excited! Here goes nothing!
